Been thinking about adding this over the past few weeks, and Chris' post with the Jaguar Factory Tour confirmed it.
Like many, I really enjoy watching the ''old'' footage of factory work, manufacturing, and when it's of one of our favourite cars, even better.

In the same way as Chris, I am impressed by the amount of work done by hand... until the final polishing of the painting. Another time so fascinating.
I propose a link to a series of 13 episodes of the assembly of a model. This guy has many ideas, he is for me a source of inspiration!

I was amazed at how much manual effort went into the 1961 Jags. All the lapping and testing and fitting and testing just wouldn’t ever happen today. It’s just robots now.
Here is one about the early V12 engines. Interesting to hear the designers / engineers talking about it.
